Hello Beautiful Green World!

I’m Maureen Calamia and I do Feng Shui consulting for businesses and homes on Long Island, NY. I’m passionate about living Green and volunteer at Sweetbriar Nature Center in Smithtown, a local nonprofit organization that educates nearly 70,000 children a year about their Long Island habitat. The Center also does animal rehabiliation and animal care for small animals and birds that have been injured and brought to us by residents from all over the Island. I serve on the Board of Directors for this group and do lots of fund-raising activities.

It’s a great organization and we have wonderful events. Coming up, we have the biggest event, The Wildlife and Nature Fair, on Saturday, June 14th. They’ll be a Wolf, Alligator, lots of birds and our guest celebrity this year is Animal Planet’s Jim Fowler from the Mutual of Omaha’s Wild Kingdom. A premium plant sale, live entertainment and children’s crafts will make this a fun family event.
